Inwell ("we," "us," "our") respects that what you bring here — your prayers, your journal, your conversations with Grace — is yours, and often deeply personal. This policy explains what we collect, how it's used, and what we never do.
Account information (email, name), usage data needed to run the app (habit tracking, reading progress), and content you create (journal entries, prayers, messages to Grace in The Well).
Journal entries are encrypted and are never read by Grace, by Inwell staff, or used to train any AI model. Encryption keeps this content private by design, not just by policy.
Inwell stores data using Supabase, a secure database provider. We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party ad-tracking SDKs anywhere in the app.
The Well is powered by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic). Grace is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical professional, and conversations with Grace are not a substitute for professional mental health care.
Inwell uses automated detection across text inputs to recognize signs of crisis or self-harm risk, in order to immediately surface crisis resources (including 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). No data related to a detected crisis trigger is stored or transmitted beyond what's needed to display that resource in the moment.
Inwell is a mobile app and does not use browser cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. This website (myinwell.com) uses only the minimum technical functionality needed to serve pages — no tracking cookies are set.
Inwell is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. To request deletion or ask any privacy question, contact us at support@myinwell.com.
We'll update the date above if this policy changes, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
