Is my journal private?
Yes. Journal entries are encrypted and are never read by Grace, by Inwell staff, or used to train any AI model.
What is The Well?
The Well is where you talk with Grace, a gentle AI companion who listens first, then offers real scripture and prayer. Grace is not a therapist and never pretends to be one. The Well is included with Inwell Premium.
Is Inwell free?
Scripture reading — the full Bible, search, reading plans, and Bible stories — is free, permanently, for everyone. Journal, Pray, The Well, Journey, and Community are included with Inwell Premium ($29.99/year).
How do I delete my account?
Request deletion from Settings in the app, or email us at support@myinwell.com. Your data is fully deleted within 30 days.
What if I'm in crisis?
If you're in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US), available 24/7. Inwell includes crisis detection across the app to surface this resource immediately when needed — but Inwell is never a substitute for emergency help.
Which Bible translation does Inwell use?
The World English Bible (WEB), with KJV also available. Scripture text is never AI-generated or paraphrased — it's the real translated text.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Inwell Premium → Manage subscription, which opens your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings directly.
